Creative Therapy

Welcome to my creative colour therapy practice

Whether I'm in Iceland or La Gomera, I paint from morning until evening by the Atlantic Ocean. The emotions I express in my colorful portraits are basic human emotions, like tragedy, ecstasy, sadness, etc. When I had something to say and could not find the words to express, I said it in my colourful world of castles far away.... As a painter I have but on the desire to paint as I see it, in my own way.

It doesn't matter how the paint is put on, as long as something is expressed. I'm more at ease working on light paper. In my safe world, I don't mind making changes to the painting, it has its own story.

What do I want to say through my art? Discover the beauty in a sad face expression, the marks people leave on their path, the ordinary, the eccentric. Seeing the world around me is what drives me to paint. I work with light materials, squash colour and paper, making the brush dance and the color sing. The brush dances as it meets the overworked white paper, capturing everything in its motion. I'm deeply passionate about the creative process and how it can be used for self-discovery, healing, and personal development.

Transpersonal, which means 'to go beyond the persona', is a psychotherapeutic approach that examines the whole Self as a network of interconnected and interacting parts, systems, or bodies—emotional, psychological, energetic, physical, and spiritual, responding to our inner and outer worlds. Like the rest of the world, our inner world is innately creative and ecological.

My approach offers a form of creative psychotherapy that recognises and values reciprocity, interconnection, and the creative process in the journeys we make to bring new meaning and insight into our lives and relationships.

The beautiful mountains of La Gomera are where I live and work. Just a few steps from the beach, close to the beautiful harbour, is my own work studio. Whenever is convenient for you, we'll meet outside and walk to my creative paint studio, which will give you a quiet space to find your creative voice. You're also welcome to paint on my terrace by the mountains if we have more sessions.
